Billy Yow Draws Over 500 To Sumner Event
May 3, 2008 – 4:41 pmConfirming a strong base of support in the Sumner area Guilford County District 5 candidate Billy Yow drew over 500 people to the Sumner Community Day organized by Michele Stone. The event was held at the Sumner Civitan park and hot dogs were provided by the Committee to Elect Billy Yow. With time permitting I hope to post some photos of the “Meet and Greet Billy Yow” day in Sumner.
Earlier this year George Rider, who is a veteran organizer of political raffles, stated Yow’s event was the largest attended that he had seen. Over 400 attended that prime rib dinner and raised over $31,000 for Yow’s campaign.

Tony, That sounds great for our man Billy..as long he can avoid the endorsement of some clergyman or George Bush he should do great. I was at Rider’s that night and there were over 450 there if you count couples making out in cars.

Chuck, I did see a tall girl with dark hair in a yellow moomoo with hippie type designs on it. Was that Kuntisha or Robin?

Tony, Robin was the voice of erudition who spoke fluent Anglish, a blend of English and Anguish. Kuntisha was the one whose lexis evolved from Jay and Silent Bob film scripts.

Chuck: does Tony know the Kevin Smith flicks?
By Maria Barton on May 6, 2008
Maria…Tolstoy, Homer, Cormack MacCarthy and Kevin Smith’s influence can be seen in all of Tony’s work. He sometimes runs in some Prouse and Leskovitchian dialectic to confuse and amuse us. He is dah man.
