  2. Tony: I read that the city leaders were impressed by the equine idea..the same ones impressed by Project Homestead’s accounting.

  3. I guess you can’t tell from the gloves and boots whether that is Billy Yow or Skip Alston shoveling the horse stuff. Ah they all look alike anyways.

  4. I forget exactly how the saying goes, Tony, but maybe in this case it has something to do with which one is more useful, that pictured above, or that named in the title of this here blogpost of yours…….

……I think it went to the effect of “the only difference is the shovel” or “save the horse”.

  6. Tony:
Here I go again,I do not think our tax base will stand this. The Greensboro whatever is willing to give twenty five thousand dollars, this is nothing. The animals will cost well over that, then there is training, stabeling, vet.bills, training and hiring of the police officers. Folks we are in a world of stuff and there is no end to spending among the elete of Greensboro as long as it does not come out of their pocketts. It is time this came to a end. Please folks stand up and be heard, this guy on T.V. states that up on a horse you can see over a crowd. Well duh if you put offcer upon the top of a building with a hand held radio and some chase cars the same thing can be accomplished. I do not think there is enough of a crowd yet that horses and police officers are needed. I can tell that the forces that are wanting this have never cared for or loved a animal, if so they would not want to punish anything like this.
In other words let them, whoever in the gods name they are make the investment pay security officers, call the police when needed and if there is enough come to the whatever they are needed for and take care of same, and leave the taxpayers out of it. My god you have enough of our money anyhow…………

  7. Ok, folks its time you stood up for what you believe in. If you do not let your thoughts be known it will cost you. Yes cost you. Most people can understand those words. Please give your opinion, the folks in places where these decisions are made read this. You must let your feelings be known. I am not expecting you to agree with me, but for the love of mike please let your feelings be known.
    In other words say something……………

  8. What happens to the horses when they become lame or finish second in a race with a gangster on a stolen bicycle. Will they go to Camp Carefree or be served to some equine eating ethnic hyphenate who attends the Furniture Market? These are questions which put the community in crisis.
